Highlands Resort, Genting, Malaysia
F&D International was engaged to provide project management as well as architecture and engineering design reviews for the development and construction of this award winning resort complex located high in the rain forest above Kuala Lumpur. The completed complex includes over 1,000 hotel rooms, several large casinos, expansive public areas, four movie theaters, more than a dozen commercial kitchens, retail shopping areas, an outdoor water park, theme parks, and extensive botanic gardens.
Working directly with the Resorts World Group, the F&D staff provided a wide range of services from our KL office to assure compliance with all contract requirements and strict environmental code restriction imposed by the Malaysian government. The Highlands Resort was the first land-based casino in the country and boasts world class entertainment for families.
