The F&D team provided a full historic building assessment as well as an engineering inspection and report for this historic Victorian home prior to the sale of the property. Constructed in circa 1891 by one of the founding families of the Colorado Chautauqua Association, this 8,000 sf home was reconfigured into apartments in the early 1930s and currently consists of 10 apartments. The home features numerous original features such as stained glass windows, tiled fireplaces, enclosed porches, original doors, windows and ornate details throughout. Property assessment included inspection of foundation, furnace, plumbing, electrical systems as well as roof, and building envelope. Cost estimates were prepared for phased renovations to update and rehabilitate the structure.
