Case Study
Garfield County Community Corrections
The Community Corrections facility located in Rifle, Colorado is approximately 12,000 square feet, with 60
beds and a staff of about 20. The facility and county staff currently provide transition and diversion services for clients that are serving time for various criminal violations. The building was constructed 2006 and has had various interior remodels over the years. The F&D team provided the county with a Facility Condition Assessment of the building and a space needs analysis as part of our Master Plan. Our report assisted the county to make financial decisions to expand and upgrade the current facility which will allow the county to expand their services to include additional counseling, and training.
